Position Summary
We are looking for a consultant that combines the ability to manage and lead retirement projects for local and multinational clients.
The consultant will be part of Mercer Wealth-Retirement and the main activities that the consultant will perform on this area are the following:
- Defined Benefit projects
- Design, implementation and transformation of retirement plans
- Advice on restructuring processes
- Accounting retirement projects (Local accounting, International accounting (US GAAP, NIC…), etc.
- Financial and actuarial reviews
- Bulk annuity risk transfers
- Solvency projects: ALM projects,
- Defined Contribution projects
- Design, implementation and transformation of new retirement plans
- On-going administration benefits
- Benefit inventories
- Projections, communications, relation with the clients, the participants, the members of the Control Committees, etc.
- Financial and actuarial reviews
- Vendor selection
- Delegated defined contribution pensions
- Other solutions
- Merger & Acquisitions
- Delegated solutions
Essential job requirements
- Education
- Qualified actuary or Mathematician or Statistician or Economist.
- High level of English (written and spoken). Additional languages will be valued.
- Experience
- 5-6 years of experience within a pensions environment
- Knowledge and skills
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
- Strong client relationship focus
- Self-motivation and an ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
